The Basics

What does it mean to be carbon neutral?

For us, it means manufacturing our batteries in a carbon neutral facility and offsetting CO2 emissions released by the production, distribution, and disposal of our batteries. We also invest in carbon reducing projects like wind farms, tree planting and truck stop electrification through carbonfund.org.

Where else can I buy Better Batteries?

Right now, Better Battery is exclusively sold online. Which means you sit tight, and we’ll deliver them directly to your business.

How can I sign up for the mailing list?

There’s a link to sign up in the footer of this website. We look forward to writing you.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?

In the footer of every email there’s an unsubscribe option. We know nothing lasts forever, but before you go, we just want to say that we’ll miss you, friend.

Recycling

Can I send my depleted batteries to another recycling facility?

You sure can! If you have a preferred recycling facility, feel free to send your batteries to them for recycling.

Our partnership is with Raw Materials Co. so we aren't able to offer a recycling certificate through another facility, but you are doing your part and that is all that matters.

Shipping + Delivery

Where do you ship?

We currently only ship within the contiguous U.S. + Canada, but just like everything we do, we’re looking to the future. So, check back to see when we ship to your country.

How do I place an order that has to ship to multiple locations?

1. From the Product Catalog page, enter totals for all the batteries you need, then click 'Add to Cart'. Then, from the Cart page check the Ship to Multiple Addresses box near the top of the page to activate multi-shipping.

2. Each product you chose from the product catalog will appear on the multi-shipping page with the sub-total next to an address field.

3. Click into the address field, then click 'New Address' from the menu to add a new address. Once you're done adding an address change the quantity of product that should go to that location.

4. When you change the quantity another row will appear. Repeat the previous steps for each location and every product. Addresses get saved as you enter them making it easier for you as you go along.

5. When you're finished click 'Continue' to proceed to Checkout.

Can I change my shipping address or add additional addresses after checkout?

What kind of friends would we be if we said no?

Email us right away at business@betterbattery.co with your company’s name, the name of the person who placed the order, the order number, and correct shipping address(s) so we can catch your shipment before it’s been dispatched.  

How do I track my order?

We’ll send you an email with a tracking number as soon as your order has shipped.

Non-corporate Orders

Can I place a non-corporate order?

You bet! Household orders follow a subscription model. Click here to visit our consumer website where you can choose between three subscription tiers.

Billing + Payment

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, wire transfer, and e-transfer. 

Returns + Refunds

What is your refund policy?

Better Battery Co is committed to 100 % Customer Satisfaction!

If you are unsatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase within 30 days from the original shipping date. All returns must be in the original unopened packaging. No restocking fees!

Email business@betterbattery.co and include your order number to receive your return authorization. If the item is damaged during shipping, we will issue a pre-paid return shipping label. In all other cases, the Buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost and may ship back the item(s) using a carrier of their choice.

We do not accept any returns after 30 days from the ship date.

What do I do if my batteries are defective or damaged?

If you believe your package was damaged in shipping, we require that you contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we will collaborate with you to quickly resolve the issue.

Once we have received and inspected the returned product(s) a full refund will be issued using the same payment method as the original order. Please allow up to 2 weeks to receive your refund.
